Getting through this Together
There's no question that we are facing a difficult challenge. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed all of our lives. With alarming updates from our own cities and states and around the world, it's a lot to bear. But we have also seen the amazing spirit of humanity, with communities coming together to support each other. Schools and districts across the country are an inspiring example of this.
It's in this spirit that we would like to share what we are doing to support educators.
Working Remotely to Serve You
On March 11, Edlio mandated all employees to work from home. With five offices in North America, we have in place all of the tools necessary to collaborate, communicate, and manage the platform completely online.
Our Technical Support team for Edlio Websites, Pay, and Engage is fully operational from home offices. Phone calls are answered promptly, as we have added additional personnel to the support line. Online cases receive a response within 24 hours (Monday to Friday). And our Client Success Specialists are working closely with administrators to address any product or service concerns, or to add additional functionality to their Edlio solution.
Online Guides and Live Webinars
The Edlio Help Center has how-to's and tips for using Edlio Websites as your homebase for information. The Communicating Urgent Information: An Edlio Website Guide is a good place to start for how educators can keep staff, students, and families up to date with the latest information. We've also started hosting three live webinars each week to further train website users and answer questions. Edlio Engage powered by Livingtree users will find dozens of quick guides and complete tutorial videos on the Engage support site.
Free School News by Edlio App
On March 13, we made our School News app available for free for all schools and districts powered by Edlio Websites. It's an additional channel to help admins get school updates out more quickly. Families with kids in multiple schools powered by Edlio will be able to receive news updates, review calendars, and opt for push notifications from multiple campuses. We've also created a guide to get parents on board.
Free Edlio Engage
Technology that directly connects teachers to parents has become more important than ever. Edlio Engage, our parent engagement tool, provides two-way interaction between school and home. It’s a private social network for your school or your entire district. Teachers own their classes and the parents and students assigned to them. Parents gain access to their child's teachers. And school and district administrators get the transparency to see activities across the entire network.
We are pleased to announce that Edlio is offering Engage to all schools and districts free for the first 3 months from sign up date. You do not need to be an Edlio Websites or Pay client to use Edlio Engage. It is our hope that Engage can help communities stay connected and help facilitate remote learning.
