A Big Need
Edlio is proud to partner with Access Books
to sponsor a new library for Harvard Elementary in Los Angeles! Sponsorship includes a book drive with a goal of 2,000 books and a service day where volunteers and the recipient school work side by side to build classroom library sets from the donated books, process new books for library circulation, and paint literacy-themed murals.
A Big Goal
Help us fill this new library with popular, high-interest titles. All Edlio offices will be collecting new & gently used children’s books appropriate for children in grades K-5. Books should be in good condition and no older than 5 years. They do not accept encyclopedias, reference books or library discards. Let's stock the shelves with books kids really want to read!
A Big Difference
We hope to make a huge difference for every child at Harvard Elementary, that’s why the Edlio team is reaching out to friends & family to help us reach our goal of 2,000 books! If you'd like to help, please drop off books at any Edlio location
Donation deadlines are:
- Los Angeles: Friday, September 7, by 4PM
- Austin, Chicago, Mountain View, and Vancouver: Friday, August 31, by 4PM
- Mexico City: Please email email@example.com for how to donate.
Need some suggestions on what to donate? Check out Edlio's Wish List

STAY TUNED: We'll update this page throughout the drive and post pictures of the finished library.
About Access Books
Our mission is to provide quality, high-interest books to school, classroom and community libraries.
We provide books to inner-city schools where at least 90 percent of students live at or below the poverty line. Most students at the schools we serve are children of color and children of immigrants. Since 1999, Access Books has donated more than a million books, and each year, approximately 18,000 pre-kindergarten through middle school-aged children participate in our program.
So many inner-city children never leave the five block radius of their home. Books can give them another world.
