Lead Product Manager, SaaS

 

We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to join our team and help lead the modernization efforts of our next generation Content Management System. This is a hands-on role that will lead a cross functional team, help define the product roadmap, and deliver on the roadmap priorities. The ideal candidate will be a self starter, results oriented, and a highly analytical product leader with a proven track record of shipping product within scope, time, budget, and quality. This role will be based out of our Los Angeles office. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the product vision and strategy for our nextgen CMS platform
  • Collaborate with and build Sales team alignment for the product vision
  • Run user research, usability studies, and data-driven experiments to inform product direction
  • Establish, monitor, and measure success metrics of features after launch
  • Communicate product plans, benefits, and results to internal teams, customers, and the EdTech industry in general
  • Work hands-on with designers and engineers to implement and build new features
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Proven track record of execution and delivering results with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of shipping simple, elegant user-facing products
  • Strong data analytical skills and proven experience developing and using tools to analyze large data sets to drive decision making
  • Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent organizational, written, and spoken communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in the enterprise SaaS space is highly desired
  • Deep understanding of causal measurement, A/B testing and statistics
  • Exceptional product design sense; working independently as well with UX designers to conceive and refine UX design/flows that are simple and effective
  • Deep technical knowledge of software design and development processes
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
