Celebrate your College-Bound Seniors!

April 13th, 2016
As you know, spring time means college acceptance time! And May 1st, the deadline for most students attending a four-year university to put down a deposit and accept an offer of admission, is in just a few weeks. Here are some tips to make the transition easier for high school seniors:
  1. Use the homepage alert feature to share news - use a homepage alert to send out a quick congratulatory message, or direct site visitors to an in-depth list of your students' college choices.  Set up a homepage alert by selecting "News and Alerts" from your admin site, clicking "+ add news", writing your message and selecting "Homepage Alert" from the post options.
  2. Hold a rally – if your school has a lot of students going to college, a rally after May 1st is a fun way for them to show off where they've chosen to attend! Encourage students to wear college sweatshirts and remember to take photos for your site.
  3. Use a marquee - many schools use the marquee feature on their front page to show off the names of the colleges their seniors are attending. If you'd like to add this to your site, just choose "Announce" from your admin site and click "Marquee". Don't have a Marquee on your site? Reach out to tech support.
